First Haircut!

Oh be still my heart!!! My little boy just got his first haircut (and needed one badly at that)!!! We took him to a place called Whipper Snippers that caters to small children. We bought the first haircut package and got a picture of him (sad to say not a smiling one!), a lock of his first hair, and a T-shirt. Well it went better than I anticipated as he actually let someone cut his hair but he was SO upset. I had to hold his little hand and he cried huge tears as if someone just hurt his feelings. Awwww, it was pretty tough. Silly me, never thought to have him sit in my lap, we just threw the poor boy into the chair and once the cape came on...all heck broke loose!

Notice the big rooster tail hanging on the back of his head...yes it is TIME for a trim...

Ugggh, rip my heart out little buddy!!! He felt so abandoned, I almost just took him back but she had just made a couple clips...

Here he looks like he was ready to get out himself...Ok, lets not feel too bad for him...he got to watch ELMO, I know what a tough life!!! Hmmmm, I kind of like this Elmo character!
Finished product, but he will not admit he likes it!! He plays a good victim but once we got home, he strutted his stuff and showed off his new "do"!

Mother...I'm just too cool to talk with you right now...

What??? Bedtime? But MOM!!!!
