Kade's favorite "new thing" nowdays is Bye Bye! He constantly runs to the gate at the top of our stairs and pleads Ba ba, ba ba, ba ba and waves his hand. He will actually sit still to put his shoes, hat, and coat on because he knows that once that is done we will get to go somewhere more exciting than our living room. After being homebound for the last couple of weeks due to the flood, he was raring to go out on the town and he didn't care where to.

After about 5 minutes in the car, Kade decides to get ancy and act like we've held him hostage in the car for hours. Here is how a typical car ride goes for the Fischer's...Yup, its been approximately 5 minutes now and I'm thinking of my exit strategy...
I'll try just reasoning with mom, hey mom can I get out of my seat?
Mom reply: (inside voice, Oh crap what can I give this kiddo as to keep him occupied, there's got to be something in my bag of tricks)
Oustide voice: Oh here honey look at this special green horn just for you! Why don't you play a tune while we wait at the bank, its not hard enough for daddy to hear the cashier lady through the speaker.
Ok, that lasted for 2 toots and got me in trouble from dad..ooops. Now I'm getting the "you better come up with something good lady because I'm seriously BORED to tears"...
Now I'm even getting yawned at. (ooh maybe he'll fall asleep-YES). Notice his eye on the left...whenever he concentrates or yawns it gets REALLY big while the left on squints. My little weirdo-ha!
No sleeping huh, well then here is your paci (when all else fails) and I can watch him try to figure out how to blow the horn whith the paci..hey keeps him busy--ha!
