This last weekend we met Amanda & Devin on the lake. It is about a 30 minute drive or so to Pelican Lake in MN. We took our boat and they took theirs as they had Devin's sister Melanie and brother in law, Will from Beulah with them. We ended up finding each other out on the lake and tied the boats together. We jibber jabbered for the afternoon and ended up racing back to shore as a nasty storm snuck up on us. Poor Kade was like a hot potato in my lap as we busted through the waves, hoping to beat the wind & rain while trailering the boat.
We are careful to keep shade on Kade at ALL times. I bring pedialite in addition to his milk so that he stays plenty hydrated. If the boat is pointed out of the shade, I will put a blankie on his little arms/legs (even though they have SPF 50 lotion on) so that he doesn't get any pink skin color. He is so good out there and just looks around and takes a cat nap here & there.

We are so blessed with what a good little boy he is (please Lord, don't make me eat these words later!!!) Daycare comments on how content he is. He loves going to daycare and watching all the little kids and babies play. I think it is so good for him to be around all of that so he can learn from them and learn to be around other adults and kids. It is such a nice facility that he is at and and it is right in the middle of a gorgeous golf course. I think he will end up golfing actually, as I noticed older kids taking their golf clubs in with them. We are so excited for his future!
